Bonus boxes are how you spend Purple Coins for a random win, also in coins. Here's the honest mechanics — where the fun is, and where any resemblance to gambling ends.
What a bonus box is
A bonus box is an optional bit of fun paid for in Purple Coins. Coins are the internal currency at a fixed rate of 1000 coins = $1, credited for cashback, referrals, and watching ads. A box is bought with coins, and inside is a random win — also in coins.
There are three boxes: Amethyst — 500, Gold — 1,000, Diamond — 5,000 coins. You decide which one to open based on your coin balance. Nothing is a blind bet: you always know exactly how many coins you're spending.
How the money moves
Purple's whole economy is a single transparent route. Step by step:
- Activity on the partner platform, referrals, or watching ads → coins land in your balance.
- Coins accumulate in your internal balance.
- Bonus box (500 / 1,000 / 5,000 coins) → an optional step: coins are spent for a random win in coins.
- Exchange with the ⇅ button → coins become dollars: a 20% fee, minimum 100 coins.
- Dollars are withdrawn through Telegram Wallet — from $1, within 48 hours, with no Purple fee.
So a box isn't a game off to the side of your wallet — but it isn't the bridge to dollars either: the exchange is. A box only moves coins around inside the app.
What the win looks like
The win is random and always in coins. It can land below the box price, and it can reach 75,000 coins. Nobody knows in advance what comes out — which is exactly why a box is worth opening for the fun of it, not for the result.
No real money is at stake here: you spend coins that were already credited as cashback, and the win stays in coins on your internal balance. There's no mechanic where someone wins because many others lost.
In short: a box doesn't earn money and guarantees nothing. It's entertainment with an element of luck, paid for with coins you've already been credited — not a source of income.
