How to add a card for withdrawal

A card is one of two payout destinations alongside Telegram Wallet. It is linked once and then used for all withdrawals.

Where to add a card

• During withdrawal: tap «Withdraw» on the home screen and choose the «Card» destination.
• In advance: in the «Settings» section.

Steps

• Enter the card number.
• Enter the cardholder name exactly as printed on the card.
• Check the box «I confirm the entered card number is correct».

One linked card is the primary one: all payouts go to it.

What the card screen shows

Brand, last 4 digits, cardholder name, linking date and last withdrawal. Three actions are available: replace the card, correct the cardholder name, unlink the card.

Security

The card number is stored encrypted and used only for payouts. Charging the card is impossible: no payment can be made without the expiry date and CVV, and Purple does not request them.

If the card cannot be added

• Check the number: 16 digits without spaces.
• Make sure it is Visa or Mastercard.
• The card must be active and not a virtual single-use card.
• Try another card or the Telegram Wallet destination.
