Why can't coins be withdrawn directly?
Because Purple Coins and dollars are two different entities. Coins are cashback for boxes, and dollars are withdrawable funds. That's why coins first turn into dollars through a bonus box.

How one turns into the other
One turns into the other through a bonus box: you open a box with coins and receive a win in dollars. There is no direct withdrawal of coins, because they are used only in boxes.
