How Purple keeps it kind
Purple works because people are kind to each other. Here’s what keeps it that way.
Rules before every chat
Nobody can message you out of nowhere. A chat opens only after a hello, and only once you both accept four short rules: be kind, no pressure and no flirting, no spam or selling, and “no” is okay.
Nobody gets judged in public
There are no scores, no labels and no aura on anyone’s photo. How people feel talking with you quietly shapes who you meet next, and that’s all. Your aura, explained.
Photos you say yes to
Coming soon: the first photo from someone arrives blurred, and you decide if you want more. Every photo gets checked for unsafe content. How it works.
Not a dating app
Purple is for talking and making friends. Keep it friendly, and if someone doesn’t answer, let it be.
If something feels off
You never have to keep talking: just stop replying. If someone is rude, pushy or asks you for money, write to support@thepurple.app with their name and what happened. A screenshot helps.
Purple staff never ask for passwords, Telegram login codes, card details, seed phrases or prepayment. If someone does, it isn’t us.
