Coming to chats: photos you say yes to
Photos are coming to Purple chats, with one rule: you say yes first.
Share a moment
Sometimes a picture says it better: the view from your walk, the thing you just cooked, the sky right now. Soon you can send photos right in the chat.
The first photo waits for you
The first photo someone sends you arrives blurred. Right under it, Purple asks one question in the same chat: do you want to get photos from this person? Yes or No.
Say yes, and their photos come through as usual. Say no, and you just keep talking. The chat itself is never blurred.
Checked before you see it
Every photo will also be checked for unsafe content. Someone who sends one gets a warning first, then a block.
Why we built it this way
A chat should feel easy. Nobody should open a conversation and get a photo they didn’t ask for. How Purple keeps it kind.
